Match Report AA1 v Dunbar 15/04/12
/BUFC 5 Dunbar 1
Barnstoneworth AA1 put on a great display at the House Of Pain on Sunday. Early goals from Ritchie and a peach from Chris Moore saw us settle well. Then a dubious penalty decision threw Dunbar a lifeline but a goal from Niall ‘Deadly’ Deegan with his first touch after coming on as sub sent us in 3-1 at the break.
The second half saw us dominate the midfield with every player putting in a quality performance and further goals by Lynchie and Simba showed our superiority over the opponents. Tom had a quiet day in goals as any attacks were dealt with by an improving defence marshaled well by Gary Dorran.
Overall a pleasing result and team performance and it was tough picking a MoM as everyone played their parts very well, but Big Ross never gave their strikers a sniff and was outstanding as was Richie and “The Grey Man” in our midfield , so hopefully we can carry it over into our next game.
Perhaps the most appropriate words can be left to Dunbar who had this to say for their version of the match report “Pathetic at its best, a lot of work is needed”
